Forest / Breath
🌹
Trees are sentient beings. They are an integral part of Gaia, her very lungs. They breathe our carbon dioxide in and breathe out oxygen, how wonderful is that!
🌹
In Gaia’s early years, great forests covered the earth, all of the trees in constant communion with one another through their deep root systems. Forests each having their own personality, some light and airy, others dense and dark, others completely awe inspiring.
🌹
Have you ever noticed how when you walk into a forest, you breathe deeper, you just can’t breathe enough of it in. The air just smells so good! Almost always the weight that you carry is lifted, you begin to feel peaceful and one with the forest.
🌹
Pay attention to your breath today. Are you breathing in fully? Does your tummy push out? If not, you are not fully breathing, and not fully participating in life.
🌹
Start consciously breathing. You probably will find that you need to retrain your breathing habit. The more you do it, you will find a perceptible shift, you will be engaging more in life all around you. You will feel more of the oneness of everything around you.
🌹
As Steve Farmer wrote “Remember that every breath you inhale is a gift, and every breath you exhale is a gift.”

Hug a tree today and thank them for all they do for us.
🌹
