In the chaos and bustle of our hectic lives we often forget about choosing peace in our lives. In doing so we loose touch with our soul, for our soul is of love and peace and it cannot dwell in noise and non stop activity.

It is important each day to quiet the mind, and look within. Meditation practice has been scientifically proven to benefit us in many ways. Even 20 minutes a day, sitting in peace can have an enormous impact on your life.

There is a saying: prayer is talking to God, meditation is listening to God. Two way conversation is essential to our being.

You can choose peace with every interaction you have with another. Every time you choose not to let something irritate you, you have chosen peace. When you take the time to understand another’s viewpoint you have chosen peace. Every time you choose to take the higher path, you have chosen peace. When you choose non-violence over violence, you have chosen peace. When you can look through the eyes of love and not fear, you have chosen peace.

Take some time today to dwell in peace. Imagine the world we could create if we all choose peace.
