Winter Solstice / Yule 2017

What a blessed time of year, the turning of the wheel is a sacred time that is celebrated in many cultures.

Yule is one of the oldest celebrations, blessings of light eternal. After the longest night, the sun returns, growing ever brighter.
🌹
Just as the sacred wheel turns for Gaia, our souls also embrace the sacred turning. When we understand this, we can use each turn of the wheel to assist in our personal growth and evolution.
🌹
During the winter cycle, we can use the time for introspection, clearing, creating, planning for future projects. We can bring light and healing into areas of our lives where darkness has previously prevailed. Peace can be found, even in solitude and darkness.
🌹
We rejoice that after a dark night of the soul, there is redemption and healing available, the returning light always brings in growth.
🌹
Celebrate the turning of the wheel, the return of light, the rebirth of the oak king, have a fire (or burn some candles), feast, drink, and be merry. Share your abundance. Visit an oak grove. Kiss under the mistletoe.

Have a blessed winter solstice, the time of darkness has passed and the light returns again with its blessings of warmth and growth.
