You may be surprised to learn that the path to opening your heart is by loving yourself. Everything you would do for another when you love them unconditionally must be done in loving yourself unconditionally. Show yourself kindness and acceptance. Speak to and about yourself with compassion. Shower love onto all parts of your body. Appreciate yourself.

When you love yourself your heart opens to allow others in. It allows you to be vulnerable and to share your feelings with others. It shines unconditional love and others know that it is safe to share their feelings and be vulnerable with you.

When your heart opens you are compassionate towards all other sentient beings. You see the love in others and are more caring and understanding of their path. An open heart is a beacon towards others with open hearts.
