This comes in as a gentle suggestion that you take some time now for rest and relaxation. You cannot continue to burn the candle at both ends and expect to avoid burnout. In order to provide the best work, there needs to be balance between work and relaxation. Now is the time to nurture yourself, to take care or your needs, to put yourself first. It is time to rebuild your strength, to fill your patience, to rest the mind, to play.

How do you nurture yourself? Is it a long, luxurious bath? A cozy corner and a good book to curl up with? Taking a walk in nature? Cooking? Laughing? A nice massage? What it is doesn’t matter, what matters is that you do it. Treat yourself to what brings you joy.

The time is now to decide what you want to nurture yourself with at this time; and how long you need to nurture yourself. Then take steps in the physical towards making it happen. You will be more productive, more creative, and happier, when you take the time to fulfill your needs.
