Using water as a cleansing ritual is used in many ways around the world. From ‘washing the day off’ at the end of the work day, to religious uses of water In baptism, and everything in between, water is linked with new beginnings both spiritually and physically. What is coming up for you that is no longer in alignment and ready to be washed away?

You can consciously invoke the cleansing properties of water every time you wash your hands or shower/bathe. Call upon the water and ask it to remove/wash away all that is no longer in alignment with you now. Thereby creating space for the new to come into your life now.

Many cultures also call upon the healing aspects of water. Soaking and submerging in the sacred waters to bring the body back in alignment with physical health. You can invoke the healing aspects of water right in your very home. Each time you shower or bathe call upon the healing properties to cleanse you. Charge your water before drinking or cooking with it to alighn it with its healing aspects.
