Keeper of Pace

As with every season, you too have an inner pace. Knowing your rhythm, your pace, is critical in working and creating. Have you considered what your clock is? Are you a morning person or late? Do you run at full speed until something stops you? Or have you begun to work with bursts of energy followed by rest and rejuvenation so you don’t burn out? Knowing your pace will assist you in having balance.

Some people naturally seem to have endless energy, while others naturally need more rest periods. One is not better than the other, so stop comparing yourself to others. Knowing what you need and then providing it will assist you in getting the most out of where you are in your energetic cycle.

Your life’s pace is uniquely yours. So stop judging yourself when you’re at a different life stage than those you deem peers. Your energy, your pace through life, was chosen by your soul before you even incarnated. It was chosen to be what you needed most in this lifetime. Stop fighting it and start understanding and accepting your pace.
