Keeper of Forgiveness

This is your gentle reminder of the importance of forgiveness in your life. Both forgiving others and yourself. Forgiveness gets a bad rap. Forgiveness doesn’t mean you approve of their (your) behavior. It doesn’t mean you need to have a relationship with the person you forgive. You don’t even need to be talking with the person, telling them you forgive. What forgiveness does is it let’s you move forward. It cuts the energetic tie between you.

Often you don’t even realize that you need to forgive yourself for something you did or didn’t do, for things that is said to yourself. Forgive yourself and move on. You did the best you could at the time. Now you’ve learned more and when you forgive yourself for your mistakes, it frees you from the past and allows you to move forward.

Withholding forgiveness doesn’t hurt the other person, you only hurt yourself. It sucks your energy by keeping the cord open between you. Withholding forgiveness towards another allows them to take up residence in your energetic field. Withholding forgiveness from yourself keeps you stuck in that pattern, unable to grow and evolve. Ready to move on, to move forward? Forgive.
