You are being encouraged to wake up and remember the benefits of comfort, of self soothing. Take time off work, make time in your day, prioritize comfort in your life. Choosing comfort doesn’t mean you have no drive or are lazy, choosing comfort means you understand its importance in living a balanced life.

Choosing comfort can be as easy as having a pet and spending quality time with them daily. It can be a fuzzy blanket that you wrap yourself in as you settle in to read or watch something good. It can be snuggling with your favorite person, pet, or nature. There is comfort in putting your back up against a tree and feeling its solid connection to the earth while it reaches for the sky.

Comfort allows you to face the difficulties life may be giving you. It strengthens your resilience and keeps you balanced. Society may not honor comfort, but you should. Many of the illnesses of the world could be staved off by allowing yourself comfort on a regular basis.
