Oshun comes in to share this mantra with you now: “I give love. I receive love. I am love.” What feelings does this bring up for you? Is this something that you already believe and live by? Is this something you are working towards? Or is this something that is going to take a little work on your part? Are you ready to do the work? Or are you trying to look away and pretend that this doesn’t apply to you?

The first step is to begin with yourself. Learn to love yourself fully and completely. When you have fallen in love with yourself, then you are ready to love another. Open your heart. Tear down the walls. Allow yourself to be loved. When you build the wall around your heart in order not to be hurt by those you love, you block any love to be returned to you. Leaving you feeling empty and alone.

You are worthy of receiving love. Don’t allow the unhealed parts of you to block love from entering your life. Love in its purest form is a sacred contract. It says your heart is safe in my hands. You are safe to be vulnerable with me and I will allow myself to be vulnerable with you. Together we will grow and expand our love and our consciousness.
