Mami Wata comes in today with the message “I have the courage to be vulnerable.” How does this feel to you? Do you feel confident and comfortable with being vulnerable? Or does it bring up a hard no way! Or does it bring up a ball of anxiety in your stomach and fear of showing your vulnerability? Being vulnerable is not usually something we are taught to be. The world can seem quite harsh, and showing you are vulnerable does not seem to be the best or even, safest choice.

Your soul wants to remind you that vulnerability is a strength not a weakness. You always have your angels and guides to assist you in feeling courageous enough to share your true self with others. To truly be intimate with another is to show your vulnerability and trust that they will cherish your true self.

If you find yourself apprehensive about being vulnerable you can start with small steps. Lift the masks you wear one by one. Encourage and keep a safe space for others to be vulnerable with you. When you show your true self to others it acts as a magnet attracting to you others that are authentic and sharing their true self.
