30 days of gratitude 🙏🏻

Today I am grateful for my car and my ability to drive. At its most fundamental an auto represents freedom. As a teen I couldn’t wait for my own car so I could go where I wanted, when I wanted. Now, 50 years later, I don’t have to rely on my car to get me to and from work anymore and driving is not a big part of my day, in fact many days I don’t drive at all but that doesn’t mean I value it less. It still represents freedom. As my sister and I struggle with whether or not our parents should be driving, I fully understand what they would be giving up and don’t take the decision lightly to limit someone’s freedom.
