Today I am grateful for libraries. Reading, books, and libraries have always been a large part of my life. From school libraries, to libraries on base, to college libraries, to the library in my home town. I love them all. I have even been known to check out libraries in other towns. Even if you can’t check out a book, you can find a cozy corner and grab a magazine and relax. Libraries are by their very nature inclusive. Yes, you have to live in their service area to check out items, but once you get get your card to the world err library, you get to check out things for free and not only books/e-books, but movies, magazines, fishing equipment, hot pots, food dehydrators, seeds, kites and so much more. Libraries teach sharing, respect, responsibility. I love my library here in town, it seats next to our river, with lots of windows which makes it very bright even on the rainiest of days.
