Beyond the basics of air, water, food, roof over your head, what is behind almost every other desire, is the desire to feel emotionally fulfilled. Sometimes, you might not think that is what you’re searching for, you desire the perfect job, relationship, spiritual practice. But the underlying desire is really filling the emotional bank.

While some like to over complicate it, it is the simple things that fulfill us emotionally. Being in nature, spending time with loved ones, giving to others, hugs, laughter, smiles.
