Releasing with grace

What do Leaves have to do with it?

It’s Fall in the northern hemisphere, the season I enjoy the most. The color of the sunlight has a more golden hue, the sky is bluer, and then there is the plant kingdom, putting on such a colorful show.

I love trees. I will drive to visit favorite trees. I mourn when trees pass. I spend a lot of time in their presence. I love their interconnectedness, their peace, their beauty.

🌹

I love watching as trees release their leaves it is stunningly beautiful. They fall like rain, or snow, covering the earth. Some leaves make large spirals, some small, others sail. Some fall slowly, while others drop as quickly as possible to earth.

🌹

Watching leaves falling this week got me thinking about how we could learn a lot about releasing, what no longer serves us, from the trees. Instead of holding on to everything in our lifetime, instead of fighting the process, instead of being afraid, we can release with grace and beauty. Knowing that even if we seem to have lost everything, with our souls bare, exposed to the seeming harshness of winter, there is beauty in this too.

🌹

Then, after the winter, with the nourishment that the fall leaves provided the soil (soul), the rains that seemed so dark, awaken the new growth, and we burst out bigger and better than previously. A growth that could not have happened without us releasing what no longer serves us.

🌹

Do not be afraid, release with ease and grace beloved ones, as we can see clearly that which you are becoming and it is beautiful indeed.

🌹

🌹

As always, take what resonates with you and discard what does not.
