A key aspect to manifesting is letting go. Do not hold on tightly to how and in what manner your manifesting should occur. All you need to do is ask for what you would like, let go, and allow space for which the Divine to work.

When you make a wish on a birthday cake, you make your wish, then blow the candles out. Releasing your wish with a burst of air, sending it out to the Universe to be handled.

There may be a person(s) or situation that no longer resonates with you. This message is an affirmation that it is time to let go so that a new person/job/etc has the space in which to come in to your life. You have to create space for new by letting go of that which no longer resonates with you.
