Every scar that you bear, whether inner or outer are a symbol that you have persevered, a symbol of the courage of your soul. They symbolize strength, not weakness. They are a guidepost to a particular growth path that your soul has taken. These are accelerated, master level things. Your soul chose them for just this reason.

A sacred scar is the result of the alchemy that happens when a traumatic experience is transformed through spiritual initiation. There is nothing in your life that you should be ashamed of. You have been made stronger through everything that you have experienced.

While in the midst of an alchemy experience, trust that you ready and able to persist, no matter how rough the road. Compassion, wisdom, fortitude are the results of such experiences. Remember, you are not being punished, you have done nothing wrong, you don’t deserve bad things. You are a strong, compassionate and wise soul having a multitude of human experiences.
