Crows are known to be great gift givers; sharing with their human companions bright and shiny things, feathers, coins, etc. Crows are expressing gratitude for the humans that take the time to know and help them. Humans can learn a lot from crows!

How often do you take the time to express gratitude to the people in your life? It need not be large expensive ways, things given with sincere gratitude are well received. Take some time to look at your life and all the beings that make it better. It could be the dog you pass on your walk everyday that is so excited to see you again, it could be the antics of the squirrels in your yard, the delivery person who makes your life easier, the grocer, the pharmacist, the hair stylist. Expressing your gratitude to all brings you more to be grateful for.

Everyone loves being on the receiving end of gift giving; but, there is much joy in the giving of gifts. A well thought out gift can bring you as much joy to give as it does to the person receiving. Imagine a world where gift giving was more prevalent, so much happiness for all.
