This comes as a reminder to take a look at your communication style. Does it need to be improved upon? An easy answer to this is, are your needs being met? Are you receiving what you need from the people that you have in your life? Are you being understood when communicating with others? It is human nature to believe you are doing everything right and it is others that are getting it wrong. This comes as a reminder that you may be getting it wrong.

Good communication doesn’t have to be hard. Communication involves not only your voice, but also your ears and your eyes. Are you hearing the right response back? Does the person you are communicating with look confused? Using I statements helps get across your needs without alienating others.

Have you been avoiding communicating with someone? Or stating what you need? Don’t hold back. Speak your truth with kindness and compassion and you will find that others will respond in kind.
