After the Storm

Just as Mother Gaia experiences storms to move, release, and transform energy, you too experience storms in your life, and the sole purpose is to move, release, and transform energy. When you are at peace with this process you will no longer feel threatened and afraid when life becomes turbulent. You may even begin to view your storms in a positive light.

You will see the positive when you can look at the storms in your life from a higher perspective. When you experience storms in your life you are at a point where change is necessary. Maybe things have become stagnant, maybe you need to change directions, maybe there is a build up of emotions that have been held too long, there are so many reasons where a good storm is needed to move things along.

There is a build up, when things seem chaotic and swiftly escalating, this can be a time where you find yourself fearful, then there can be a time of brief stillness and heightened energy. Then the storm breaks, there is a release of energy, things shift, move, and are cleared out of the way. This is followed by the end, where the energy is fresh and the landscape washed clean. You will see clearly what you need to release and what has value to you. Storms are uncontrollable, but your reaction to them is in your control. When you understand the value they have in your life, you will align yourself with love and not fear, and may even come to appreciate the part they play in moving the energy in your life.
