The Breathing Rose

This card comes in as affirmation that you have been healing long held, lifetimes even, complex issues. It probably is not going as fast as you would like. Like an onion, healing comes up in layers, especially deep emotional healing. Just when you feel you have worked through it, another layer reveals itself. Do not be discouraged, you are doing well, it is complex work, often healing on many bodies, physical, mental, emotional, spiritual.

While you might feel as if you want to withdraw from life, doing this long term does not promote healing. Getting out in nature, connecting with beloved family and friends are what will assist you as you move through your healing. Be kind and compassionate with yourself as you do your work. This is not a time for self blame. This is soul work, it’s deep, complex, and hard to face. Give yourself praise for doing your work. Look back and see how far you have come, it is much farther than you think!

Doing this healing work often can cause you to restrict your breath, breathing shallowly. You can support your self by doing breath work. You can find someone to work with or you can do it yourself. Practice different breathing patterns, in for a count of 4 out for a count of 8. Breath in through the mouth and out through the nose. Breathe deeply from the diaphragm, feel your heart opening. These are but a few of the many ways you can support yourself through your breath.
