The Child Within

This comes as a gentle reminder to treat yourself kindly and lovingly. There are so many ways that you can be hard on yourself, and the media and others point them out regularly. Even though you receive these messages you have a choice on whether or not they are true for you. You are the bearer of your truth, when you take in things that don’t align with your truth you hurt yourself, your inner child. Your inner child holds all of the hurts that you do not process; your inner child wants to hold your creativity, your capacity for having fun and experiencing joy.

Your inner child is craving your love, care, protection. Hold your inner child within your heart. Mother them in the manner that the Divine Mother would, showering them with love and acceptance, protecting them from outside forces that would hurt them. Encouraging them to express joy and kindness.

Add caring for your inner child into your daily routine. Ask them what fun activity they would like to do, and then do it. Soak in all the joy that comes from partnering with your inner child when going on fun adventures.
