In astrology the eighth house is the place where you hold your beliefs about money, sex, power; also, anything you find uncomfortable to deal with, you hold in this house. It is important for you to deal with what you hold here so that you are not manipulated by things you haven’t worked through. When you understand your peculiarities, they are just part of who you are and you cannot be controlled by them.

When you look into your eighth house of beliefs you will be able to see clearly if another is trying to control you. Is a lover using sex as a carrot, withholding until x, y, or z is done? Is a financial advisor working towards their interest and not yours? These are the types of things you will see clearly when you work with your eighth house.

The eighth house also holds your beliefs/fears regarding death. While death seems to be a taboo subject, times are changing for the better. Death is a part of life and when you come to terms with that, your fears over death will no longer control you.
