This comes in as a gentle reminder of the importance of having relaxation in your schedule. It is easy to get caught up in the rat race, believing that you have to work hard during your waking hours, even limiting sleep so that you have more hours to work. All this does is lead to burn out with little else to show. As with everything there is a balance that when achieved brings the greatest results.

There is nothing wrong with scheduling in fun. Laughing and having fun replenishes your life force; it opens your mind to more ideas and creativity. Hang out with friends who you enjoy spending time with, do crafts that your inner child enjoys, take a class that opens your mind to new things. Do what makes you happy and be unapologetic about it.

There may be times when you only have a limited amount of free time to devote to relaxing. During such times, meditation, breathing exercises, listening to music, taking a few moments to sit outside and breathe the air can be revitalizing and rejuvenating.
