Caring Community

You are being asked to actively seek out and be a part of a Caring Community. This community is supportive of all, inclusive, nonjudgmental, practices kindness and empowering others. If you cannot find a group, you are being called upon to create one in your neighborhood or workplace.

You can practice these values of community in all of your interactions with others. Spread your smile, give sincere compliments, volunteer. You can make a difference, one interaction at a time. You may never see the results of these actions, but they will ripple out into the world making it better.

Work towards bringing people together. This can be done in many ways, community gardens, book groups, block parties. Whatever you are drawn to, is what you can do to help unite all. When people feel they belong to a community their happiness levels are higher, they feel safer, they grow, helping others is natural. What can you do today to make the world brighter?
