This comes in as a gentle reminder of the importance of filling your inner well. The saying ‘running on empty’ refers to our inner well, we are unable to give, indeed do much of anything, when our inner well needs refilling. How is your inner well? Is it well filled and you have the energy to go about life and assist those in need? Or are you running on empty and need to find a way to refill?

If you are needing a refill it’s time for some self care. This needn’t be expensive, it can be as simple as sitting outside and enjoying nature. It can be watching something that makes you laugh. It can be playing with your pets/kids/grandkids. It is something that fills your heart with love and joy.

We can only truly help or give to another when we have a full sacred well. So if you’re one that thrives on giving, you must make self care part of your regular routine. The sacred well calls for you to fill it on a regular basis, heed its call and make yourself the priority.
