As in all things, there must be a balance between giving and receiving. Often those working as light workers find it much easier to give than to receive. Giving all of the time, without the balancing of openly receiving is detrimental to you for spiritually and physically.

As much joy there is in giving, there is joy in receiving with an open heart, knowing that you are worthy of receiving. Receiving with an open heart is receiving on the soul level.

You, just as you are now in this very moment, are worthy of receiving. You are not selfish when you receive with an open heart. It is safe for you to open your heart, to both give and receive.
