This comes as a gentle reminder to connect with your physical body using movement. Using your body for creative expression and movement through dance is a good way to enjoy being the physical body. You can express feelings through movement, you can release excess energy through movement, you can express your connection to the divine through movement.

To ‘dance like no one is watching’ is to get out of your head and to move your body intuitively, doing what feels good and right. It is to fully inhabit your physical body and to move in a joyful, playful way. Connecting with your inner child and having fun.

When you are stuck in your head, worrying about this and that, stuck in a creative slump it’s time to shake things up. Put on some music that you enjoy, shut out all thoughts, connect with the music and your body, then dance like no one’s watching!
