You are being gently advised to take a mirror and look at those parts of yourself that you do not like. Next sit with the feelings that come up when you contemplate why you don’t like those parts; show these areas love and compassion. Next, are there emotions, feelings, beliefs that you are carrying inside yourself that you do not like, ask yourself why you keep them.

Often people think that when they are on their spiritual path that all is light and rainbows with no darkness. That notion is not true. Often the most spiritual people are the same people dealing with the shadows they carry. What you need to remember when you are wrestling the shadows in your life is that there is no dark without light. There is light in your life, you are light.

Life is all about balance. When you find yourself out of balance, look to how you can regain balance. Look at where you can nourish the spiritual and physical sides of your life. Where can you add creativity to your life? Creative endeavors balance the spiritual and physical at once.
