You are being asked to create a home that feels safe, secure, and renews you. Your home is your sanctuary. You have this home, this sanctuary, both within you, and in the physical. There may be times in which sanctuary only lies within, because there may be upheaval, turmoil, transition in the physical home. You can drop into your inner home whenever you need to through meditation, breathe work, quietness. There is sanctuary always available to you.

Let your home be a sanctuary that assists you in dealing with whatever the world has, instead of a place where you go to hide from the world. The first is empowering, the later has you feeling unsafe and unable to face the world.

Your childhood home affects your feelings of home as an adult. As a child you did not have the power to change your home; as an adult you have the power to create your sanctuary. Take time to fill your home with things that bring you joy and peace. A place where you can let go of your worries and be refreshed and restored.
